WE ARE HIRING!

ONCE-A-WEEK ENGLISH TEACHER FOR ¡ADELANTE LATINA! SOPHOMORES

We are seeking a seasoned English teacher with experience in Baltimore public schools who is creative, energetic and passionate and who can design an engaging, participatory classroom experience for our 10th graders while helping them strengthen their English language vocabulary, writing and reading comprehension.

• This is NOT an ESL position.
• Instructional time is Tuesday afternoons from 4-6 p.m. at Notre Dame of Maryland University.
• Outside classroom time is 3-4 hours per week providing student feedback and curriculum development.
• Early September through late May, following the Baltimore City Public School calendar for vacation breaks and snow days.
• Winter break mid-December through mid-January

STIPEND: $4,500 per semester with the expectation that the teacher commits to a full academic year.
